Nice view, spanish omellette is good
At the beach but going to the beach requires feeling confortable to being robbed, although we were warned. So better to go to the beach at Stone Town instead of infront of the hotel. Breakfast is simple. A lot of mosquitos at night. No shampoo

What was the highlight of Zanzibar Ocean View Hotel
My overall stay was pleasant, and for the price I paid it was worth it.
The view from this hotel is excellent. The bed was comfortable. One could walk down to the beach easily. If you are on a very tight budget, this is an ideal place to stay, do not expect the usual luxuries associated with beach resorts. If you like a rustic feel of an old inn, with weathered walkways, steps and exteriors of the buildings, then you will be at home.
The resort is clearly past its heydays and is visibly in a state of decay. There used to be multiple restaurants but these are no longer there. My room was just next to the breakfast deck and I had to keep my curtains closed all the time, as there are constantly people on the deck, even at night. This is not ok when you see people constantly looking at your window.
